Nissan MAF adapter plate. - 18/07/03 06:25 PM

I want to put the adapter plate and cone filter on the x, but low and behold ebay has none. Will the same adapter work that goes to a sentra? Or where can i buy an adapter for a nissan x?

Does this mod poop on my warranty?

Try the following web site:
www.vibrantperformace.com (sorry I am not the best at the link thing).
Look in their car accesories (not truck), towards the end of their on-line catalog I think you will find the MAF adapter for Nissan.
I am 80% sure they are all the same but verify through them.
The next problem is that they do not sell through the internet so somewhere in their web site they can direct you to a local distributer for them.
I think the price is around $16 for an aluminum adapter.
As far as the warrenty goes (has been said a million times) it only screws up the warrenty if the dealer can prove that the mod you made actually caused the failure.
Good Luck [Wave]

OK... first of all my link does not seem to work for whatever reason so just manually type in the web address and that should work.
Second .... they have changed their web site since I saw it last so click on the "Intake Accesories" and then select "street flow intake ...."
that should open up their catalog pages 28-31.
Bottom of page 31 is what you need.
Finally just click on the distributor to find a local dealer around you.

No a Sentra will not fit the Xterra....I tried it already and they are too small to fit and no you can just drill out the holes either....

You forgot to put the N on performance on your link... wink

www.vibrantperformance.com

But that adapter plate seems to be a universal Nissan one and I wouldn't trust it cause the one for the Xterra is alot bigger than most of the other Nissan applications...

What you could is check with www.weapon-r.com cause I know they make an intake for the frontiers and Xterra's and see if they'll sell ya a MAF adapter...
