New Intake & 265/70's = better shifting - 28/08/07 06:25 AM

I just put on the AEM cold air intake, and put the Toyo OC's 265/70/17s on my '03SC & it was/is WELL WORTH THE DIMES.

Before, it seemed my engine was 'searching' & if I had to hit the gas (automatic) to get me up a hill or pass, the gearing was such it wouldn't come out of gear for a while or topped the hill (which can be a while here in KY).

Now, there's plenty of power in the 2-3k RPM range vs. before.

Oh and incase other SC owners are wondering, the whine of the SC and new intake is priceless.

I would love to, the cash flows aren't there at this point...

Plus, I've read (other posts on here) that too much flow (not enough back pressure) causes problems with the sensors shutting the SuperCharger off. I know not to go w/ the bigger diameter.

There's no emissions testing here in KY. What'd you suggest.

Sometimes this site is for the 'X-tremest' and there's too much info and it gets conflicting... There are a couple people on here that I trust their words-of-wisdom.
