2" Shackles and Add A Leaf

I am going from a PML to a 3" suspension lift. I have 2" rear shackles, but want to get the AAL kit. Do I need to get rid of the 2" shackles when I put the AAL kit and get 1" shackles? I am using the vehicle as an "Expedition" type vehicle so i require the AAL kit.

So, will or will not the 2"shackles work?

Are you just doing a single AAL ? You want to leave the shackles on, or it'd just be the same as a PML again. I have to the Calmini shackles + 3pack of AAL... if you're hauling stuff, you want as much strength as possible.
