Anyone have issues with there Xterra feeling unstable? I seems after a tire rotation the truck is alot more bouncey and when you pull the wheel side to side it seems real unstable.

130k on her, with new tokico shocks at about 115, 16" Nissan plus rims with 265's on them, brembro slotted / cross drilled rotors, all new wheel bearings and brakes were done at 100k.

Any one have to replace any parts that might correct this feeling? All the tierods and ball joints look good.

How are your swaybar bushings? Maybe they're worn down/out?

Sounds like steering center link or Tie Rod ends smile

Mine was doing the same thing and I just replaced both (as they needed it) and it's fine now. Take it to a shop you trust to accurately diagnos it before you buy parts though. Hope all turns out well.

Checked your tire pressure lately?

Jack it up under the a-arms and set it on jackstands. Get someone to wiggle the front wheels and look around for sloppy parts.

Tierods and centerlink are the most likely culprits, but any movement at all in the balljoints should also be addressed.

Check your air pressures too. Have you ever gotten an alignment? An alignment shop will typically do the inspection I mentioned as part of the job, and if they're worth a salt, they'll give you feedback on parts that are worn.
