steering stabalizer question

I have read on one of the xterra related sites that a steering stabilizer may redirect stresses toward the idler arm on the xterra. I am running 265/75r16 tires on my '02 xterra with no lift. I was thinking that due to the increased tire mass I might need a steering stabilizer. Should I also buy an idler arm brace? What is your take on this?

The idler arm brace is a good investment. A steering stabilizer really don't do much for a stock height truck.
