How long before I need steering? - 26/02/07 12:12 PM

I just got my truck back, I've had a PML for about 4 months and just had AC's UCA's installed and was wondering how long till I need steering...

I'm saving up for SLR's econo or full and 'm also moving to Montana in about 3 weeks, will I make it to montana at least?

I do have an idler arm brace and I'm not planning on wheeling again till im up there, any thoughts? Just kinda worried about the drive.

Thanks

Don't wheel it, and you're more than likely fine.

If you like gambling, then wheel it and hope for the best... [Too much XOC]

It could last 30 seconds, or it could last 10 years, if you wheel it. You won't know 'til it breaks how long it'll take (which doesn't really help you out much, does it??)

Driving on pavement should not be a problem. Things usually break when you have torque & impact + an imovable object.

Montana is awesome. If I ever leave AZ that's where I'll be.

i'm still waiting on replacing my steering, its next on my list. but i've dealt the stock setup some pretty serious smashes and it hasn't shown any signs of breaking. then again why push it?
