Love MGS! still playing snake eater for like the 5th time through. any facts about release? i dont know whats coming out till it hits the shelf, sorry.

I loved Metal Gear Solid, but Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty even more.

My college roommate was huge into games like MGS, FF, etc. He got real down when I beat MGS2 in less hours then he did, and he even had the cheat book.

I'm a huge fan of the MGS franchise!

I admit that MGS2 somewhat let me down, but MGS3 was amazing! I really liked it how they managed to incorporate most of the technology that was relevant to the era. I felt like the boss fights somewhat far fetched in the technology aspect, but it was fun none the less.

MGS 4 will be a sole reason to own a PS3.

I'm a total MGS freak! I can't wait for MGS4, only hope it's as in-depth as MGS3. God, I've had that since it came out, and I still can't put it down!

Did they finally issue a release date for it yet? I know with the Game Developers Conference (GDC '08) a whole lot has been publicized.

Speaking of old, two things just dawned on me.

Aparantly this game is too big for a 50 GB blu-ray disc!!!

Multiple discs have never bothered me with respects to gaming. In many ways, I've always felt like I was getting more for my money. However since BluRay discs aren't cheap, I wonder how this will affect MGS4's price.

Any in game footage? cutscenes are great and all but damn, i hope its not another killzone bs. Ive followed MGS since the beginning. One of the better ones out there.

It's releasing on one disk, they just couldn't fit the japanese and english soundtracks on a single disk. No great loss except for about a dozen fanboys who read subtitles and play it in their non native language.
