Skid plates for s 4x4 model?

Anyone knows?
How about to install OR's plates on the S model?
After market skid plates?

Stock plates for the OR fit on the S. there are aftermarket ones also.

Check out the Shrockworks skid plates, they fit well and offer great coverage. I am very happy with mine.

I just bought a 06 X 4x4 and I added the skid plates the the deal.
I just want to be sure they wont tell me now something like 'oh, they dont fit'

Yea, I put on a full set of Stock Skids. Almost the biggest waste of money I did. I ended up with Shrockworks Skids. Fit nice great coverage. The factory skids are ok for snow maybe a trail, anything more than that, save your money. (They fold up like paper) Posted for those considering. Black panther also makes them. But, I am shrocked on all 6 sides.

Stock O.R. skid plates are a bit uh..."weak".

That said, they are better than nothing.

I.M.H.O., Black Panther are the best skids for the X, in any version... with Shrock being a very, very suitable version as well.

Just curious as to your preference for BP. I have never seen them up close, only Shrock stuff.

Both offer pretty much the same coverage. The BP Tranni skid comes with an X bend for some added strengh. However, BP does not have a gas skid available right now.

IMO: Either company will offer you the trail protection you need.
