New Xterra Owner in Michigan

I bought my Xterra a few weeks ago...it's a Blue 2000 SE 4x4. I'm from Grand Rapids originally, but I recently moved to East Lansing for a new job. So far it has been a nice ride, except I took it on a trip to the Upper penninsula and the road noise from the sunroof/ roof shield thing was annoying at times. Any other members in the area?

I am in Grandville (W of GR). I was up in Grayling last weekend wheeling around the Camp Grayling and had a blast.

Welcome. I live in AZ now and went back to the Detroit area for a wedding recently and was there for 5 days and didn't see one Xterra. I mean really, not one!!! Maybe you can start a revolution there!!!

Hey my brother is a teacher at Grandville High School.

I literally live about 2 miles from Grandville HS. One of my good friends is the assistant coach of the girls varsity b-ball team.

It is hard finding places to wheel close to Grand Rapids without going up to Silver Lake.

I just moved to Novi, MI in June and bought my new X last weekend. I would love to take it off road but am still looking at where to take it. Any ideas? If anyone one in Michigan is interested in a day ride somewhere, lets set something up.
