Hey all,

I've been lurking for a few months, catching up on everything.

I bought a silver 2005 OR 4x4 a few months ago to aleviate the overcrowding my family was having with our Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. At the time we had a 18 month old son who was outgrowing the rear seating. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the new Xterra. Our other vehicle was a 2003 Volvo S40. We figured we could get away with one vehicle being a little small.

As life happens, a month ago we got the great news that my wife was pregnant again. There was no way we could fit two car seats in the Volvo and still sit comfortably.

Last night while at the Toyota dealership filling out the paperwork to get my $$ back on the extended warranty I had on the Tacoma, I spied a 2002 White Xterra 4x2 on the lot. After a lengthy negotiation, ending with the dealership throwing in a new set of tires and a 3 year/36k warranty plus a few other things, I drove home with it. As always a used car is a gamble. The 2002 has 88K+ miles, but seems to be in great shape. I'm going to take it in and have it serviced ASAP, just in case.

The 2002 did not come with an owners manual. Anyone have one laying around or know where I can obtain a copy?

I look foward to participating and helping with what I can.

Welcome! And congrats on the 2005 X, 2002 X and your wife being pregnant!
For the owners manual, click here:

This will take you two a page where you can access both the 2002 and 2005, in case you want an online version of both!

Congrats. My 2002 has almost as many miles (82k right now) and drives like new. You should get a lot of good service out of it, especially since it is a 4x2. Having the extra 3/36k thrown in is icing on the cake.
