New Member + New Xterrra

Ever since the Xterra was first introduced I have wanted one. Just yesterday, I got a 2004 4x2 XE with V-6 engine in super black. I love it! I'm picking it up next Saturday, and just ordered the neoprene seat covers for the front and rear seats. Needless to say, I'm quite happy.

Grats and don't let the 4x2 stop you from having fun with it.

I just took my 4x2 out with three 4x4's and kept up no problem. Enjoy it, love it and feel free to ask anyquestions... oh and ignore XOC

As much as I would have loved to have a 4x4, this was a gift from my grandfather, and he couldn't afford to get one. To be honest, I really don't mind, because it's an Xterra, and I love it!

Just think about the bright side all the time (acceleration, gas mileage, maintenance, etc. ) and you'll be doing just fine.

Well, most people don't offroad in their X anyways, so, good purchase.

Congrats on your new Xterra. I have been quiet happy with my 4x2. I got my 03 in July and I already have 16,000 miles on her and no problems!
My only complaint is the MPG! Especially they way the gas prices keep climbing around here!

Congrats on the New 4x2. Maybe some of you 4x4'ers who post idiot comments should trade in your brain for a new one! Had my 4x2 for 8 months and love it too. Saving for the K&N Charger at the moment to add a little more kick.

i have a bone stock 4 cyl and i absolutly love it. i dont care about going up mountains. it costs too much money when you break it.

Driving up mountains doesn't break Xterras, and fixing a 2WD Xterra costs just the same as fixing a 4WD Xterra.

You are just jealous cause i get better gas mileage than you do. :p

There's not that much difference. If you like your 2WD, fine, I like mine too. But don't try to say it's in any way "better," because it's not.
