Anyone remember off hand what tie rod end the Calmini SAS uses to tie to the pitman arm?

Anyone.. anyone..

I thought it was the 1ton Chevy truck but got one and that thing is way longer than what I have on there.

A 2wd Chevy 3/4 ton rod end I do believe. I'll look it up when we get back from Evergreen this evening. Got a convertible beetle that's itching to go into the mountains.

The part number is an ES2223R with the stock nissan pitman. OEM on Jeep CJ's: Tie rod to pitman arm.

Um, actually it's a ES409R from a '71-'86 3/4 ton 2WD Chevy truck. That's according to Calmini's website.

not sure where you found that Allen.. but I looked all over their site to no avail..

Interesting thing to note though.
If you look up both parts, the one that Brian gave looks just like what is on the vehicle while the one the Calmini has listed on their site it longer and I worry would make that linkage too long.

Go figure

Thanks smile

There's a taper difference on both arms. Carlton and I got her all figured out. Like Brian stated, if you use the stock Nissan pitman arm (like with the 'out of the box' Calmini SAS kit) then you have to use Brian's number.

But if you use the Calmini arm, then ream out the hole and use the 3/4 ton TRE. I used the 1 ton steering stuff with the Calmini arm to keep the stock steering ratio.
