Can't remember if I posted over here about my second trip to Poamoho hunting area on Oahu Hawaii. I decided to put my Xterra in a hole that I would have less than a 1% chance of negotiating completely so I could practice using my winch in a controlled situation. Even though I checked the depth of the hole prior to entry I was suprised at how deep it was. Guess I didn't get the stick into the deepest part of the ruts. Anyway, here's a picture of the winching out.

C'mon, show the aftermath like you did on the Unofficial board...

Yah, I was wondering if that was the same trip. I was half-expecting Chaney to do the honors of showing the aftermath shots for him. Heh.

Unfortunately, I don't have those pictures. Chaney does. It's all cleaned up now. I do have the video posted on the unofficial page though. I will post it on the video page here right now.

About 14 inches.

A Defender 90 is rated to 20" and a Hummer is 24" and 30" (depending on the model), and both are designed for serious off road work, unlike an SUV.

If you drive it through anything deeper, expect problems.

I don't know the exact depth Nissan says, but they don't recommend going deeper than the hubs.

I've been in water that has completely covered my 32.7" tires several times and haven't had any problems, other than a wet horn and water in my foglights (which has yet to affect their performace, even when I've left them on when they are under water).
