A friend and I will be leaving this Friday night to camp on the Loon Lake side. We should be camping about a mile in up on top of the slabs, next to the lake. Are plans are to bike in to atleast Spider Lake and then back. If you would like to join, feel free to join us.

I don't think you can use the area around Spider--An emergency trail closure was approved for the area and they shut it down frown The A-hole factor really took a toll on Rubicon this year mad

The trail is still open but you can't go to the lake. I couldn't believe I only saw two trucks and 20 people at the little sluise. Great bike ride and wheeling day.
