Hey guys! I'm a soon-to-be owner of an 06 Xterra S this weekend, and I'm stoked! I've never done any off-roading before, but I'd definitely like to try it out with the stock X.

I don't even know where to begin, are there any beginner-type trails that a stock X could just roll through? Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated! Links, tips, anything. Thanks!

FYI, I drive a beater 95 Cherokee right now...I'm due for a more capable suv laugh

To start with, Hollister is a great place to learn the basics. Check out the "OFF ROAD TRAINING CLASS" topic. There's an upcoming class that will be very beneficial to noobs.
