Hey Huey, I took your advice... ![[Smoking]](graemlins/smokin.gif) I ordered the "full set" of skid-plates from Automotive Customizers...Including the new Rear Diff. & the Gas Tank Skid-Plates... ![[LOL]](graemlins/lol.gif) Also ordered a pair of Heavy Duty Tie Rod Adjustors... But, I havn't quite decided on the Calmimi Steering replacement kit yet...Maybe later

Xsal, It has nothing to do with driving hard...It's all about Xterra protection... The better I can protect my X, the happier I'll be...Especially ,when or if, the time arises when I'll need that extra protection..."Better Safe Than Sorry"... I'll let you know how it goes...I should have all the skids installed by the next club trip...

BTW, will the owner of an Alpine Green 2001 XE (looks bone stock and not sure if it's 4x2 or 4x4) who works at either the Circuit City or Don Sherwood's Golf & Tennis on Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose, please stand up? I'm pretty sure I've seen your truck there everytime I've gone to Don Sherwood's, but today was the first time I'd seen the XOC sticker on the rear bumper. Since I don't recall seeing your truck at a meeting or event, maybe you're lurking around this forum.

In fact, some goof who rode up and parked his red Yamaha sport bike decided to give us a few pointers about our POS Warn winches: "In all my years of 4-wheelin' my Bronco, I've seen all sorts of Warn winches break down.
