That 3 cars thing...that sounds familiar...oh yeah that's Geoff!!!

We're working on improving our jedi powers soon. We're going to visit some old guy in the hills of livermore about training.

***waves hand*** You want a solid axle...

That could be. You could skip the 4runner and get a WJ that I know is for sale...

Huey- I have pretty much gotten Steve to commit to the SAS. Heck I'll even do a SAS for a 60 once you all do.

Nothing has be ridiculously big. Although I do have a preference for SA rigs and see 33s as a starting point.

As for my rig it's simply nice knowing that it is on par with the other built rigs in the club and that I shouldn't be holding them back. Plus it is nice knowing that the moron driving is the chief limitation of where I can or can't go.

As a side note: buggys, trailers, and diesel tow rigs are perfectly acceptable substitutes.

Good, we've got him on record saying he would do it!

Actually, Geoff only has me commited by about 70%. There's still a 30% chance I won't.

This thread is hilarious! Looks like y'all have the SAS thing covered, so I'm off the hook! [LOL] laugh

I'll likely never SAS my rig. Too much $$, and my truck does all I need it to do. However, I am trying to figure out how to get myself a set of crawler gears while they're on sale!

Oh, on a side note Matt, why not a tacoma? You can get an extra cab, 5 speed and locker fairly easily. I don't think the double cabs come with manual trannies though.

I've considered a Tacoma, but after looking at them the extra cab is just too small inside. The double cab would be nice, but they first came out in 2000 and are still very expensive.

I drove the 5spd in Santa Cruz this weekend, it was pretty trashed inside and I did not buy it. I'm still not 100% I want to move to a Toyota. The upsides are reliability, gas milage, and some feature (sun roof, power rear window). But on the other hand I like the ZJ's interior much better, and it's more capable offroad.

Choices...
