Hey Everyone,

Today I ordered some 29mm torsion bars, and some fiberglass front fenders for my xterra.

The torsion bars are from "Spencer Low Racing". They are 29mm custom made by SLR...They will custom make them between 26mm thru 29mm diameters. (SLR's Part #TB-01)

The fiberglass fenders are going to replace my stock metal front fenders, and will provide much more front tire clearance. (SLR's Part #FG-15L & FG-15R)

I'm really looking forward to getting these items installed and seeing how those torsion bars ride. Also, how awesome those new fiberglass fenders will look on my xterra, with all that extra clearance.

YES...Spencer Low Racing has a NEW 4 1/2" Lift Kit for the Front of the Xterra. It consists of new longer Upper & Lower Control Arms as well as all the hardware to put it together.

See URL for further info:
www.spencerlowracing.com

Or Call:
928-667-4757

PS: Yes they are still manufacturing & testing quite a few products for the Xterras & Frontiers. So, Get Yours Today...

Have fun, and hope to have it all installed by next months "In & Out" Club Meeting.

Is that like 50% stiffer than a stock?

It sounds pretty cool... Must be nice looking once it's all done. smile

Have fun waiting for the stuff. Any bets on how long he takes to get it to you?

Since he was able to place the orders over the phone (I assume it was?), maybe he won't have to wait too long... Well, hopefully, I guess.

Well, I got my fingers crossed for him, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

we just had a guy on TNT order a diff lowering kit for his frontier. Ordered it 3/14 and paid extra for 3 day delivery. He finally got it around 4/2. I guess two weeks isn't bad, but when you pay extra for 3 day shipping? [ThumbsDown]

Hello Everyone,

You Too Surfinteacher... [Freak]

Have No Fear...My Fenders Are Here!!!

I just installed my new fiberglass fenders today, with some help from a buddy of mine from work.

With a little modification and about 3 hours total, they are finally installed on my Xterra.

Luckily it was kind'of slow at work last week, so I had them painted the day after I received them.

I am pretty satisfied with the way they look, but I am even more satisfied with the "Tire Clearance Factor" especially behind the rear of the front tires...Lots Of Extra Room!!!

SLR Rulez laugh

PS: It took only 1 week to receive my fenders, once I paid for them...

Also, It took SLR only 2 weeks to custom manufacture my 29mm torsion bars...They are completed and just waiting for me to pay for them, which will be paid for on Friday May 7th.

I already spoke with SLR and they informed me they will arrive within 1 week.

I have always received excellent customer service and prompt delivery from SLR, and they are always eager to answer any technical questions about each and every part I have ordered from them.

I suspect by asking correctly worded questions and giving the proper information about my particular situation, has always expidited what I order and how fast my order gets shipped.

I wish everyone the best on there future orders!!!

I can't find 'em either; I have a feeling they're just being prototyped. I believe (based on conversation with SLR) the kit would include weld-on front shock mounts that would allow longer than stock shocks...which would be kind of nice.
I talked with spencer back in ~October 2003 & he mentioned a new website was in the works...by the new year (2004!) he said.
