I'm out. I have to work, plus my Pathy's still under the knife, er, MIG welder, until after the holidays.

Have fun, stay warm!

Looks like we will have a bit of snow fall (nothing major): http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/ski/weather/tenday/209002?from=search_vert

See you guys tommorrow.

P.S. bring warm clothing and dress in layers, it will be cold.

Have to bow out. Kids came down with a cold and Snow falling does not sound good for them considering I had them drive down with me to LA and back this week. Sorry maybe next trip I can work it out.

I am currently out of town (in Portland, Oregon) otherwise I would join you guys on this trip.

I was away from the Bay Area for more than a month. I went 4 wheeling, hiking and camping in the California desert for 5 weeks before I flew to Oregon for the holidays. I will post pictures from my trip when I get the chance. Meanwhile, I am spending quality time with family.

Have fun 4 wheeling tomorrow.

Rommel

What time did you guys get home? Reached my door 10.40pm.

Great trip, thanks to Huey for putting this together, just to figure out how to put the pics here.

We first tried to run 7N09 but I was denied trying to get over the initial snow bank. We ate lunch and I aired down and got unstuck. We decided to head to the Slickrock entrance since the parking area was more conveninent. I had some shoveling to do to make the snow plowed berm passable. Once that was done we all made it over fairly easy and we headed in. We made it in until about where the road starts to climb more steeply. The going was good with only a few minor stucks. Then we turned around and made quick time heading back. Once we were back at the parking lot we tried getting towed behind the truck while riding a tarp. I think that everyone who tried it had a fun ride.

We played around in the parking lot trying to do donuts and slides for a while and then aired up. (Did any pics or vdeos come out from this?) We had dinner at Snowshoe and headed home.

I hope that everyone had as good of a time as I did. I was really pleased how far in we were able to make it, the snow was just about perfect. While it was snowing off any on it was never heavy and the during the day the temps were fairly warm.

Cheers,
Geoff

Nice, Geoff! Was that the rev limiter you kept bouncing off of?

Come to think of I think I was in low range while I was doing all of that so I may have have been hitting the limited, but I really wasn't paying attention at the time.
