Matt, was wondering the where you got your air compressor? Airlocker and 5.14 gears are going in. Also air shocks (3" longer than stock). Will need a lot of air laugh

I think they got it on ebay:

ebay search for "Puma 12v compressor"

It puts out a lot of air. Very nice (but kinda big).

Marty,

I bought it from http://www.buzzardgulch.com/, they are the same people who posted the adds on ebay. It looks like the compressor is currently $190 on their site, I'm not sure if shipping is included.

I have flow graphs for the motor that is on the compressor charting efficiency/psi/cfm if you are interested.

You could also check out the MV50 compressors Kragen recently had on sale (closeout). They are $25 each, put out a rated 72l/m (2.5cfm) and seem to be good quality. The downside is that when compared with the Puma they don't have a tank, pressure regulator, or pressure switch so they would take more plumbing to setup. Oh, and the Puma is rated at 100% duty cycle while the MV50 is ~40%.

Here's some MV50 info:
http://www.dv-innovations.com/products/hv_50.htm
http://www.broncofix.com/about269628.html
http://www.gearinstalls.com/pepboys.htm

There is also a MV1050 model that supposedly has better internals and is available at Pep-Boys.

The kragen compressors could be hard to find now-a-days, although I heard a kragen in fremont had a bunch of them still.

The puma is now pirate approved as quite a few people have been posting about it lately.

I've been using the Puma, as a hard install under the hood, for over a year now and it works fine..except. It's draws A LOT of juice and produces an inordinate amount of heat. Therefor it blows 60amp fuses and 50 amp relays regularly. I've re-wired to alligator clamps with an inline fuse. I have another compressor used only for the locker and only use the Puma to air up. You can not hook ruber hose directly to it. I've used about two feet of copper tubing, spiraled, to initially dissipate heat. It does put out the air!!

You might look into Viair. Its a cool system, complete with what you need and reliable. Check out your local 4wheel parts store...

Thanx for the input guys. Still not sure. I now have the ARB and 5.13 installed in the rear, well almost. Just got it back from the rear end shop. $240 for the install.
