Does anybody else like going to ghost towns? If so, I'd be interested in a trip over one of the next long weekends.

I'm totally interested in ghost-towning. Where in Nor-Cal do you live. My fiance, daughter and I are making a trip along the 49. We are staying at Bass lake for a night, then in Placerville for 2 nights. The last stop will be Lassen Volcanic National Park, for a night or two.

If your close to that area maybe we could meet up and go hunting.

I live in the Bay Area and I am limited only to trips that can be done during long weekends. Lassen Volcanic NP is on my to-visit list and while I don't have a hunting license, it'd be fun to go on a "hunt." I am planning on getting a license sometime in the future. Do you fish?

Sure do. And soon BRT will be prime for fly fishing, catch and release only though!
