Hey I'm new to this site and have had a 4x4 Xterra for about six months now. I go wheeling in it occasionally with a few buddy's and their trucks/jeep. I was thinking it'd be fun to hit some trails with another Xterra. I live in Hillsboro and usually go into the Brown's camp area on Highway 6. I'm also looking to try the Tillamook forest(heard theres some good stuff.) Anyone that has an Xterra in this area and a idea for a good trail post a reply. We'll see if we can get a few together for a little expedition.

A lot of the Tillamook OHV is closed down due to snow up high and idiots tearing up parts of the powerline trail. You can drive the roads to look around and get your bearings. I'm sure there a few trail segments open.

This info is about 10 days old but I'm assuming it still holds.

Toy Man, thanks for the info. on Tillamook area, like I said I haven't been up there, usually do Brown's camp area. If you ever have any interest in doing a little off roading w/ another X i'm down, and do you know any other X's in the area that might want to do a some wheeling?

right but a 4 hour freeway drive just to go wheeling isn't so appealing. Maybe dividing up into a portland group or something?

I was just pointing out the link to the club and lots of members around the NW, including the PDX area.

Well if there was as good of wheeling areas here... we wouldn't have to drive to Washington. Personally... after doing both areas... the 4 hour drive is worth it.

There's plenty of Portland folks... we just don't wheel here too much. smile

In the next weekend or two I am planning on dragging my ATV's to Sand Lake and hitting some of the dunes with my X. We should try to plan an X day at Sand Lake.

I usually head east into the national forest (Memaloose Rd, NFR45)

I got a Laptop with a GPS with me tomorrow, Time to go get lost since all of the snow is finally gone.
