Hey all - we're planning on having a ton of great events in '06. Discussions are ongoing about exactly what to do and when (though we've got a bunch of great ideas).

We'll definitely be doing a 2WD-friendly weekend at Fossil Rim, plenty of offroading, another fish fry or crawfish boil etc.

Get in on all the action HERE!!!

I'm not a member of SWXC, but live here. We should check this place out: Treesranch near Kerrville

Leon

Looks cool - I hadn't heard of that place before. I also want to check out the park in College Station soon.

We are planning a trip to Katemcy Rocks in 3 weeks, though (May 13/14)

Yeah - I'm definitely heading to Athens or Clear Springs very soon. I've owned my own regulators for like 2 months now and all I've done is 2 pool dives to 8 feet frown

We should do something at this Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch. I'm like 15 minutes from it so I might be able to scout it out before hand........if no one's been there before.

EDIT: Actually now that I look up the location.....I'm like 2 minutes away!!!

Too bad it's open for club events only.....BOOOO!!!

We might be able to arrange something with them, though, if we could get enough trucks to commit.

It might help that the club prez is an Aggie wink

I'm here. Your just not looking in the right section for my posts.

Although I'm not sure why this should be de-topped, it didn't say any specific year in it, but it's done anyway.

Hey Robert...... and Kaiser.

I'm not really asking about topping vs. de-topping, or starting a new thread.

I guess I'm simply asking what the club's activities for this year are going to be? I have not seen any news on this yet. I don't want the year to pass me by (happens very easily now) without making an event.

ah - okay. I misunderstood.

We need to schedule a meeting and plan some things. There aren't too many of us left - but there are a few.

Check out the club forums on www.swxc.org. We have had several events this year, with one coming up in the next week.

I'm on SWXC and TNO. I read alot and post very little.

I'm slowly modding my truck on a student budget to be able to wheel at places like Katemcy but don't think my trucks ready yet. No skids, but the gas tank one, PML only and little experience. I am looking to get back involved more than in the past though.

Hey Scott-

Kinda tough at the moment.... my login is locked (probably lack of use over time), and the e-mail it points back to for reminder expired a year ago. If one of you guys want to shoot a reset of my user profile 'Walt' to me at wb_ml_stephenson@sbcglobal.net, I'll get on there.

Otherwise I'll have to build a new profile! frown

Thanks,
WS

Well it shows you to be an active user, (don't know if someone else beat me to it). If you still can't get on, I can change your password for you, send me an email to rreuscher@verizon.net
