Thinking of going out to Blair Valley on Sunday 12/31 and hiking to see the pictographs. Anyone interested in joining us?

Never been there, but from the guidebook it looks to be a bit over 11 miles of sandy road, rated Easy by Wells (see Blair Valley, #53). Pictographs are about a 2 mile r/t hike, at about the half-way point in the drive.

We'll try to leave San Diego by about 9:00AM, but we can be flexible if anyone else wants to go.

I planned on being in San Luis Obispo on the 31st but if I'm back early, I'll meet you guys out there. Been there before, nice mellow trail.

I'll have my FRS radio tuned to channel 12, subcode 24.
