I am thinking of going to Joshua tree national park and do some wheeling. Has anyone been or done the old dale road trail or any of the off road trails? If so will I have any problems with my stock 4X4? Anyone want to come with or have a better suggestion for wheeling with a stock 4X4? [drink] [Wave]

Most of JT is ok for stock 4x4. WOuld suggest Berdoo canyon, that is fun for a stocker.

I haven't done much of JT but I ahve done Berdoo, it's fun, just don't try to go up the impossibly steep slippery sand hills... I nearly rolled my X one time because the truck slid to the side... At least it felt like it.

If you have a problem, I live about 10 minutes from JT. Call me 951-551-9427 and I'll do what I can to help.

I go shooting up in Berdoo canyon alot also. It is BLM land, so if you are in to that, you might consider it.

Berdoo Canyon is fun and a great way to go into JNP. A nice side road will take you up to Berdoo Camp, which I believe is where a lot of the workers lived while working on the aquaduct. At any rate, I also live nearby and I'm available if you need assistance or if you want company. My cell is 760-397-7247.

10-4 boats. Just so you know, I'll be unavailable until about the middle of July. But after that any time you're out give me a call. With the X you're just over the hill and getting there is a hoot.
