Would it be too difficult applying "Xterra Owners Club, Site Related, and Thread Name" posted on the bottom of the page as well as the top left?

Try using that handy-dandy "home" key on your keyboard...

Errr, no it doesn't. It doesn't do anything.

Nevermind, it does take me to the top of the page. For some reason I thought it would take me back one page. Sorry.

To go back one page use ALT+Arrow Back.

I'd recommend off2cjb RTFM again, but he'll complain.

Seriously, I can't understand how you can do what you do for a living and not know how to use something as simple as a web browser. [Freak]

I purposely try not to get myself involved in the software aspect of things. I find myself getting into more trouble that way. I am quite dangerous enough. Plus, I don't have the time or desire to learn these little tricks.

They're not little tricks, they have been part of the Windows operating system (and others) since the dawn of personal computing.

Home - Goes to the top of any document.
End - Goes to the bottom.
Page Up/Dn - Obvious.
Right click a scroll bar - Several options on where to scroll.
Roll your mouse or keyboard wheel - Scroll up and down.
Click your mouse wheel to lock and scroll the page with the mouse.

Just like your Photoshop question earlier, you should try learning and using the tools at your disposal instead of claiming ignorance.

Not always true, especially if you're editing that document. You'd need CTRL-END for that. smile

Hmm, I thought I knew just about every keyboard or other shortcut, but right-clicking the scrollbar is new to me, but I don't consider it particularly handy since there are KB shortcuts for those already. As for the scroll wheel tricks, not everyone has a scroll-equipped pointing device, and the click-the-wheel-to-scroll feature is just awful to use anyway. I have the Logitech Marble Mouse (it's a trackball, don't know why they call it that...) that I dearly love. If only they would come out with a freaking wireless version of one instead of the stupid thumb-operated trackball...

I never knew that. I doubt I would use it though, its just easier to hit "home" or "end", etc.

It comes in handy at work with my crappy desk when I'm leaned way back and can't reach the keyboard.

I stumbled upon this post, and am now amazed at the fact that someone who can turn a computer on and start internet explorer, not mentioning surf the internet, does not know what the "home" key button on the keyboard does. They have learning books on everything, but a "Keyboards for Dummies" is a new one on me.

I have to fight with my left rear window to get it up. I have to push the button down, then up real quick, and repeat that process until it's all the way up. Sometimes I even have to pull the glass up myself while tryin to push the button up. I'm thinkin I have a bad actuator motor. How can I fix, or get a new one?

Perhaps YOU should focus your attention on becoming the "Xmasta" of the search function..

don't forget that the Home key doesn't work if Number lock is on though.
