The site is live

http://four50one.net/XDP06/

Andre the Giant starts off with a comanding lead due to his prophetic pick of Lou Rawls.

Andre Sent in his list on the 5th, Rals died on the 6th.

Look over your lists and let me know if anything looks wrong... i built the this new site from the ground up so there may be some coding glitches. BUT it is built to be reused nextyear... which will save a ton of time and allow me to have the site up a bit earlier in the year.

also... please, if you get bored, send me info about some of the celebs... for their bio pages... there is a lot of info to gather there and I'd hate a repeat of last year(some never got info)

also notice there are a coule new bonuses and the points values of some have changed

I know this may be a bit much, but is there any way we can have a list on the front page of the celebrities and who all picked that one?

(As opposed to having to check each persons individually?)

That would be great.

I checked each one individually. I'm shocked that I'm the only one who picked John Paul Stevens. The dude is like 498 years old.

well there is now a link to the list, but it may take some time to create the code that will show who picked who...

at least for now you can see all the picks

his age makes him worth less points... but since you are the only one who picked him he is now worth quite a bit...

much like my Sir Edmund Hillary and Ray Bradbury picks

I think I'm the only one who picked Les Paul. He could be worth some big points - he's close to the oldest (Al Lewis has him beat, I know).

Born June 9, 1915. Anyone other than Al Lewis older?

Lady Bird Johnson is older than Gerald Ford.

Born December 22, 1912. Ford was born July 14 1913.

Quite a few people picked her.

Yeah...bunch of copycats...I think Only a few of us picked her last year.

I bet most of you didn't even realize she was still alive.

My comments on some of those picked by the group:

Courtney Love and Ted Kennedy - DIE already!
Ruben Studdard - C'mon, this is a CELEBRITY dead pool.....not the I'M A FAT BASTARD AND I DROPPED OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH dead pool
Hugh Hefner - will definitely die smiling
Nancy Reagan - Ask Jeanne Dixon if she's gonna die
Stephen Hawking - that'll save someone the job of wiping up drool
Muhammed Ali - Float like a butterfly, die like a butterfly hitting the windshield.
Ringo Starr - 2 down, 2 to go.
Paul Harvey - Goooood day!
Danny Bonaduce - My pick for the jackass bonus points
Hillary Clinton - I hope whoever picked her wins!
Paris Hilton - possibly more temptation than your average mortician can withstand.
Jimmy Carter - buried in a peanut shaped casket
Ariel Sharon - See Stephen Hawking
Peter Fonda - Predicted to go in a freak water bong accident. Second nominee for jackass award.

Carry on.
