Washed mine this weekend. Also used that Mother's Back to Black on the trim - it worked great. Too bad it snowed Monday!

Likewise. "Just a quick wash." Yeah, right. Washed, dried, waxed the hood and front fenders, "Back to Black" on all the trim, cleaned the engine compartment up a little (rubber seals and their surfaces, battery, yada yada). ------------------ 2001 Solar Yellow SE 4x4 V6 5spd

I'll have to wash and wax my X everyday now that the "rust on my back hatch" paranoia has set in.

Monday, followed by three straight days of rain. FYI: We have had over 10 inches of rain in the metro Atlanta area since Feb. 28. Man, some drought we're having. I think I am gonna be taking some weathermen out with a sniper rifle if I don't see the sun soon. And it is totally screwing my Mountain Biking up.

Well, I haven't washed mine in 3 months...and don't plan on it any time soon. Besides, we're in the middle of pine pollen season here in Georgia, so besides pollen readings of 3300...everything has this nice yellow hue to it. So now my X looks Solar Yellow!! Yesterday. I had to power blast a few cubic feet of mud and riverbed off the underside of my X. Uncovered a plethora of really nice scratches... Oh well, that's what its made for. ------------------ "Do not meddle in the affairs of sysadmins, for they are subtle and quick to anger." Join the Heartland Xterra Owners Club at www.hxoc.net

I just did mine this weekend. First days in chicago above 50 this year. Washed, Waxed an Polished her for the first time. Found out a couple things in the process:
1 - a white truck makes it real hard to tell whrn the polish or wax has hazed over.
2 - my X has a lot more sheet metal to wax and polish than my little Saturn did.

It's not a benefit when the bees come flying in your windows this spring/summer. Just ask the yellow GOX attendees. ------------------ Join the Xterra Offroad Webring 2000 Aztec Red 4x4 V-6 XE-3Pak www.xterra4x4.com
