I picked up a can of Stoner (don't ask me) brand "Invisible Glass" the other day and got a chance to try it over the weekend. Fantastic stuff, I've never seen my windows so clear since the day I bought my X.
There was another can of some other brand of glass cleaner for less than half the price that I nearly picked up, but it had a foaming action which means it's soap-like, where the Invisible Glass was clear about saying that it would not foam and leave soapy residue. It just evaporates.

Just spray and then wipe with a crumpled newspaper as they suggest, then gawk at your "invisible" windows (well, some are tinted, but you get the idea.)

Brent

If you really want a cheap glass cleaner that'll do the job, just use newsprint dipped in water. Never fails.

The stuff I liked was very cheap and worked good, but they no longer sell it. I don't remember what it was called.

Armor All Glass Cleaner is good too. Esp. for tinted windows since there are no abrasives. NEVER use Windex or the cheap ones on the inside (tinted area) of the window. The abrasives will scratch the film.

I've only found two types of glass cleaner that ever really worked without leaving residue or streaking the first time. Johnson & Johnson's Glass Wax and the General Motors brand glass cleaner part# 1050427. The Glass Wax is really really good, but a lot of work to use. Just like waxing a car, rub on with sponge, let dry, and then buff. The GM stuff comes in an aresol style can, foams when you spray it, and comes off with a towel, paper or otherwise. Works very well and is only a few bucks at any GM dealer. We sell a ton of it to people that use it in their homes too.

Just a couple more ideas.

Mike

Stoner's glass cleaner is awesome. Most of Stoner's products are really good. They also make a tar and sap remover that is awesome as well as carpet cleaner and dash cleaner. I've used all their stuff for years and it works great.
