i was at the local pepboys and saw an orange bottle called "back to black" went ahead and purchased it and used it on my bumpers,mirrors,and specially on my faded roof rack. it really works great. i recommend it to everyone that has a faded roof rack.

A lot of people here swear by it.
However, I used it on my inside plastic and whenever I go down a dirt road, I come back looking like I have a brown dash mat

You may be applying too much, or not rubbing it in enough

Give it a week, while it still last longer then others it fades back shortly. I've tried a few different products like that and nothing is a long term solution short of repainting it.
