On a new Nissan, exactly what does the dealer do and what product is used for their Paint Protection Plan. Anyone have it done; and if so, was it worth the cost? Thanks in advance for your Help.

The only thing that gets done to the X when it comes off the truck and before it gets to the lot is it gets a wash and a wax. The dealership I used to work for got the wax from a commercial supplier, where we got the 50 gallon drums of degreaser and tire shine.

There really is nothing to the "paint protection thingy" it is simply another way for the stealership to make money.
