I just had an idea...Why not use one of those swifter cloths to dust off the...They're really soft (figure like a big piece of cotton), and pull dust off floors and things like no one's business...Any thoughts?

I don't know that I would try that on my X (Super Black) due to the possibility of dragging small abrasive particles across the paint as they get stuck on the swifter. It might work though, but I think it would take less time and effort to just stop at one of those spray-it-yourself car washes, put it on spot free rinse and go to town. Just my opinon.

I agree with kandacarlson, but that may be a good idea to use on the dash and interior of the X. I may try that!

For very light dust or pollen, a brush often called a "California Duster" will help. Used carefully, without pressure, I have not gotten scratches even on sensitive paint. But as noted, they will not work on heavy 'rock/dirt dust'.

Driving this past weekend on the trails with my windows down, I had a lot of dust on the dash, steering wheel, radio, and center counsel. I used Pledges' "Grab-it" rags. They are just like the swifters. They worked very well. I would not use them on the paint though for fear of dragging something across and leaving a small scratch.
