Just about any name brand car wash product should work fine. If you don't like the first one you try, use it up and get a different one. As far as specific products, what works well for one user may not work well for you. That is because water differs almost everywhere you go. Some brands may work better with hard or soft water.
See what works for you.

dave and Xtoy - not a big issue

I use whatever is on sale when I'm out of wash. Currently I'm using the Armor All carwash concentrate, only because I found it on clearance at Target for 49 cents for a big bottle! Seems to work fine. Previously, I have usually used mild dishwashing liquid and have never had problems with it, although some people swear that dishwashing liquid is bad for paint/wax/clearcoats. But I've used that stuff forever on different vehicles with no ill efects.
I agree with DaveDatsun that water quality has more effect than soap though, for a good wash.

I use Wesley's car wash goop.

Whatever you do, don't use dishwashing liquid! It's too harsh and will strip the wax of yer truck... However, from time to time this is a good thing, just to start fresh before a nice wax job.

I use Duragloss on everything I have owned the last 10 years. Easy on,easy off, give the paint a wet look. I use all thier products.
I like the car wash, it smells like bubble gum. Good stuff.

Armorall concentrate works great. Follow with armor-coat for a killer shine. And you must wash at least once a week

Just make sure that you keep from using any dressing on the trim of your vehicles. Because sadly, once you do, you will always have to or it will get that white/worn look to it.
