Has anyone used Meguiar's Clay Kit? A friend recommended it to me and I'm curious if anyone else has tried it.

I've used the Meguiars kit and the Mothers kit and like the Mothers way better. It is easier to work with and left a smoother finish with less work.

Yeah, I like the Mothers too. I use a lot of Meguiars products, but I found their clay to be sticky and it was hard to use it without leaving sticky residue. The Mothers seems to be far more resistent to sticking to the paint, so it slides easier and leaves less mess!

Yeppers. I'm in concurrence here as well. I just used the Mothers clay bar kit on my Golf about a month ago and was very impressed.

Ive never personally tried the meguiars clay, but i have used claymagic and some other brand i cant remember the name of. Both worked quite well, just remember to keep it lubricated with their lubricant, or I personally just use amonia free glass clean. They work great to remove overspray, tar, sap and other surface contaminates.
