Unfortunately this not an easy question to answer. There are many waxes and my types of waxes. I prefer Meguiars. I use there 3-step process twice a year and follow-up with the last 2 steps monthly. Check out Megiars website at www.meguiars.com

Someone here mentioned Collinite a long time ago as an extremely durable wax. They started out making wax to insulate electrical transformers and people found it was excellent in other uses. I've been considering trying some for a while, but not until I use up what I've got.

I recently started using Zymol brand wax and have been really impressed with it. Here is a link to check out, read the ingrediants for the product as well, its pretty unique.

Brent -
I've got some Collinite #845 on my shelf. After a polish/cleaner step it is a good top wax. I've even added additional carnauba wax to the 845 and gotten some outstanding results.
Their web site shows some additional automotive products since the last time I checked. They are probably worth a try. Too bad my shelf is a little too full right now.

dave and Xtoy - but it's due for a cleaning
