hey, i had my new t-bars installed by my a mechanic buddy today. it really leveled out the truck nice, but one question- after getting it home- i noticed the rubber bumper stops are almost touching on the a arms. the ride on the home felt good- alittle stiffer, obviously. i didn't notice any problems. any commentary?? thanks.

Were you leveling it to match the stock rear end height or are you using add-a-leafs?

to match the stock rear end. i have 32's on her, plus an arb. the oem one's were sagging a bit.

So do you have to crank them up even more to level it off to compensate for the added weight of the ARB? I ask because my current delema is to A)just buy shocks and the T-bars and just crank them just enough to level it out.Or B)is the only way I'm really going to get the look and performance I want is to do the full blown lift? At least upper controll arms , ball joints ect. I guess patience and waiting to do it right might be the only solution.

you should be able to just crank the t-bars. cranking the t-bars will give you the same amount of height, no matter what bumper you have on your truck. the weight really has nothing to do with it.

I don't have an ARB nor do I intend to but I don't want to crank up the T-bars and have the same issues you and others are having with limited travel and hitting the bump stops due to the cranking. Yet I would like it level . Is the full lift the answer? What about lower profile bump stops?

i believe you can shave the bump stops- but i don't think that is really recommended. cranking the t-bars should get you close. i guess, if you want it completely leveled- then, you'll need the aal's and the new a-arms.
