$350+ plus trade of factory wheels and tires

4 have 20K miles, the 5th is brand new.

DR rims have some scratches from wheeling, but still look great. 5th (new) tire on 15" steel spare.

Great deal for someone looking to upgrade to MT's.

Would go less if wanting to trade SC wheels.

Obviously prefer somewhat local or transport via Xterra members as shipping; I don't mind driving partially to meet someone, I'll be making a trip over to Ga/TN/AL area soon and possible a trip to TX/OK/LA soon. Let me know if interested,
John

I may be interested in that. I am in NC though, so we would have to work out a point to meet in perhaps TN or GA.

I also don't have stock tires on my second set of stock rims. I have some TRXUS on them now. Plus some stock sized (Perhaps a tad wider) Cooper Discover A/T's that could go back on them.

I'd be interested in working that dela if you put the cooper A/t's back on. I'm trying to get it back to as stock as possible and recover some $$ back off my MT's and DRs I bought. Not only do you not get any more $$ for trading in with offroad mods, you often get less. I'll probobly be in Knoxville this time next week.

Let me think on it. I'll need to figure out a way to message the wifey that another set of tires is a good investment. How much tread is left on the 4 used MT's?

Knoxville is rather close,so that could work. But right now, until I figure out a way to possibly convince the Mrs., if anyone else is interested in this deal-e-o, speak up. This is a good package, and I will let someone else who made need some better tires step up if they want.

The 4 MT's have about 20K on them. Mostly highway, properly rotated and air pressure checked regularly. Let me know.

Jonathan.....just pick up the package. That tire and wheel combo is a great price....plus John needs the stock tires and rims. So having BFG M/T's with the stock rims does him no good.

Plus...your rims....if I'm not mistaken....are 16", so you'll need to buy some new rubber to put on those rims anyways.

That's a good package deal, and if no one else steps up, and I can play nicey-nice with the wife, and I decide that the locker can wait a tad longer, I will jump on it.

Jonathan.....

You can fit them. You will probably need to crank the torsion bars a bit and trim some of the mudflap plastic. I know that Brent (OffroadX) runs 32" tires on his X with no lift kit. He has cranked his torsion bars a bit and trimmed some mudflap, but it is very do-able.

That would give your "stocker" some much needed meat.

Barely cranked t-bars, trimmed flares, and 2002 mudflaps, no sweat.

It's not very hard at all.

We CXC folks need a mod day to do some of these things to our trucks that folks want to do.

You really don't even have to crank your t-bars. I mounted mine and then trimmed on the inside of my front flaps with a dremel. I ran like that for a couple months before I got the lift.

Jonathan....beg, borrow or steal the cabbage for this deal (if John can't wait). It is really too good a deal to pass up, and an improvement in your X that i think you truly would appreciate.

As Nike says...."Just Do It."

(And if I seem as though I am pushing Jonathan to make this purchase....I am. For two reasons....1). He needs to stop ass dragging it and do the wheels and tires thing if he wants. A better deal will be hard to come across. And 2). If he buys these things, then I won't have this internal battle raging as to a finding a way to both justify and afford this deal.)

I would like to do this, Unfortunately I have no wheels to trade you. I will be selling my 4 spoke 02 Se wheels so maybe if I find the right person I can sell them and get their stockers. Let me know if you would like to work this out.

Umm...Knoxville would probobly be the most convenient. I'm driving over from MS, and that would be the furthest east I will be. Let me know when you can, and we can work out the details via email or PM. Let me know if it's a sure thing or just a possibiltiy at this point. Thanks
John
edited to add: I'll have to get pics tomorrow or Fri depending on when I get it out of the shop.

I hear you on the tax return issue. The only thing I am pushing for is a commitment one way or the other if you want to do it. The reason being, I am coming up to knoxville(hopefully next week). If you'd like to do it, is there any way you could partially pay me and do the swap? I am a trusting person and wouldn't mind somewhat fronting the tires, only b/c thats the last thing I need to do to my X before searching for a new car. If you don't have a bit of money to put towards it, then I don't think I could swing it, just looking for a good faith down payment(maybe 50%) and we could work out the details once you get yourt tax return. But if you don't follow through may the nissan engine gremlins get you! j/K.
Let me know. I may be leaving as early as tomorrow. I can get you some pics of the whells and tires tonight if you'd like, they will just be dark. Anyone else interested?
John

I will take them but I have no wheels to swap, so here is the deal if you want to send them to Utah and I can find someone to buy my 4 spoke SE Charcoal wheels and BFG Mud Terrain Tires and swap me their stock stuff then I think we can do this. Let me know.

That would probobly be another 100-150 bucks to send those 5 x 32" wheels and tires, then my truck would be on blocks until I recieved a set of stock wheels and tires back. I know I live in MS, but I don't think I'm going to leave my only running vehicle on block for a month. Sorry, I just don't have another set to mount, hence needing a trade of factory stuff. I appreciate you trying to work with me, but I can't send off my wheels and tires w/o knowing the factory stuff is on the way, plus I cant eat the shipping charges. Bump da bump bump.

Hey John,

How's it going? Sorry to hear you're selling the X...

I'd love to take those tires and wheels off you, but with med school, I'm pretty broke. If you decide you just want to straight-up trade your set-up for the original SE rims and tires, just let me know...I'd be happy to trade. wink
