I've been looking for racks for my x that will hold my surfboard. Does anybody know who sells them?

I remember a manufacturer was trying some out a couple of years ago, but I don't know if they ever made it to production. I can't remember who they were, so that probably doesn't help much.

I've found that foam pipe insulation wrapped around the cross bars and soft bungees do the trick. Kinda low-tech, but it's cheap. laugh

It was probably Yakima. I checked their site and they want me to put crossbars on top of my x's crossbars (not very smart.)

I think I'll do the pads and bungee cords.

Thanks

A 6 pair ski rack will do just fine for a surf board.
