Good luck selling it on this board. I'm not going to bash what you've done to it, but here are a couple facts you might want to know:

A quick search would show you that 95% of this board belong to an offroading community and the thought of a lowered X will make most stomachs churn even if it is a 2wd.

Pics of your X in particular have shown up several times on this board and have always been associated with keys words such as "ricer" & "bling-bling". (try a search, you might find it)

Again, good luck!

Looks like you lost a screw in the pic of your steprails. Better quit "bumpin" so much or it is all going to fall apart.

But the majority of Xterras in the USA are 2WD, and this is Xterra Owners Club, open to all.

That's a well built truck (from what I can see), so lets save the negative comments for those with 2WD Xterras who think they can 4 wheel, or the lame trucks riced out with cheap bolt-ons from PepBoys.

I don't think I have ever bashed a lowered 2WD Xterra.

Lowered 4WD Xterra... yes.
2WD Xterra wishing to be a 4WD... yes.

Personally, you'll probably have a better chance of converting it back to stock and selling your entertainment pieces separately.

Also, what's up with the Jersey plates and NY stickers?

I'd like to know how the conversion to air bags was done. It would be cool to have a 4wd X whose suspension can be force articulated to compensate for off camber situations.

I would take the "Covert back to OEM" advise and then sell it if you must part with it.

I don't care how well done it is, it's fugly, useless, and a waste of good money and an Xterra.

Well, I dont know the guy so I`m not going to bash him. I do give him credit though, it doesn't look "riced" out, it's more "pimped" out if that makes any sense.
It's definitley not my cup of tea but to each his own right?

In any case, most anything you do to your vehicle will lessen the value of it. Unfortunately there is a trend for kids to "pimp" or "rice" out whatever vehicle they get their hands on, then get bored of it and try to get rid of it.

Most people on this board know its a 2WD etc etc, but the kid should have atleast written down the exact specs of the vehicle.

It is definitely done nicely....quality of install wise. What size rims are those??? They seem to be overpowered by the fender flares. Better to lose the airbags and go with deep dish 23's or something. Those wheels are just too small for the body style IMO.

Am I the only one who thinks this guy is just trying to get everybody spun up??? He has mentioned how low it is to the ground and shown pics an aweful lot. I think he is just fishing for a flame! If not, good luck selling it...better go somewhere else because I highly doubt you will find someone to buy it here. Like Ian said though...it looks like you put a lot of work into it....

Who know's? Considering he hasn't responded once since his original post. If flames is what he wants, I don't think he's gonna get it.

In any case, what bugs me is why he has Jersey plates with NY registration!! [Freak]

Hey guys .... sry i havnt posted ive been working late shifts and havnt had much time to use the computer.

let me awnser a couple of questions that i read on the board

#1 the plates and tags different. i have nj plates and ny tags because i moved from ny to nj and havnt changed them yet.

#2 for those of you who dont like my truck. I honestly think it is well done. I respect half of what you are saying Yes a Xterra is a off road vehicle. But mine is 2wd so i guess my question to u is this .... whitch is worse, being original, or just another cop out throwing some mud tires and maby a raise kit on a 2wd truck ....and get stuck in the mud. I see kids with 2wd (off road wanna bee's) all day. and ive found one other guy with a truck somewhat close to mine. and he lives on the other side of the country in washington state.

But regardless ive done more work to the truck then the kids with their 2wd xterras

#3 I no i need bigger rims .... havnt had the xtra funds mine are only 18's but still ran me $2,500 with tires

and im not tryin to just get a response ....im accually tryin to sell this so i can get me a edjamacation [Freak]

hell, i have a 4wd x, stripped with everything i NEED and NOTHING i don't and i think that's saying way more than some pusses with tires, lifts, winches, bumpers, LEATHER, GPS, dvd, AUTOMATICS, and a SPOTLESS truck and frame...
i guess a little rant is in order since i have been a member of this club since the day i got back from buying my x, actually that night, and i see this "guy" with a lowered x, little stickie-outie wheels, an air bag LOWERING set-up, a freaking entertainment center in his daily-driver and HE HAS BEEN RATED BY OTHER X OWNERS.

Damn man, relax.

If you posted something controversial, like this guys post about his truck, I'm sure people would be happy to give you a 1 rating as well.

Don't worry about ratings, it's a popularity contest. Basicly if you give good advice in the Xterra forums and are helpfull, but have controversial and unpopular opinions in the ALR and Clubhouse, you get a low rating. So it has nothing to do with the quality of your posts. Yes, there are rare exceptions, like ElectroKen, but he is so far and away above the other posters here that he is well deserving of his rating.

If you are trying to get a rise out of me Claus....then you win...otherwise..read this post of yours and see how you are being a hypocrite. You mention about how people ask a question and the usual jerkoffs attack...well you are being one of those jerkoffs.

Mr Firth has obviously NO intention of cleaning up this board he does not give a fuck about the quality and only spouts a kneejerk reaction if something irks him in the spirit of the moment (Iluvmyx), no one can ask a question before the usual jerkoffs attack in ANY forum. XOC is not about the GREAT Community of Xterra owners, it is and has become a joke and a good waste of time nothing more nothing less, just one of 100.000 messageboards where anyone can have balls as long as he can argue (not spell).

So Todrick, my advise to you (for what it is worth) do not let yourself be the Friday
iamboredatworksoiamgoingtofuckthedogreadingXOC entertainment. Ignore it be above it and be happy there are people in your area who have a relationship which allows you to wheel and have fun.

The ONLY thing XOC has ever given me was the opportunity to meet a group of outstanding, helpful funloving guys (PNWX) which means so much more to me than a paranoid pathetic guy sitting in Staten Island by the last name of Martel hiding behind a handle getting off by triggering a reaction from guys like you.

Was I mistaken in thinking this was the "Buy and Sell" forum?

Someone has to be the asshole and it may as well be me. If you're not interested in something that's for sale in the "Buy and Sell" forum then don't fill someone's ad with a bunch of shit, even if you don't like what you see.

Chuck, we're solving that problem right now.

Replies in the Buy and Sell forum will no longer be allowed. People will either have to PM or email the seller.
