STI is awesome...300hp, all wheel drive, how much better does it get?!! My hubby drives the Subie, the X is mine! We threw some winter tires on the STI but no major mods (yet). We were thinkin bout chipping it...we'll see. I chuckle at those who complain about gas mileage on the Xterras. The STI is WAAAAYYYYYY worse! The neighbours look in our driveway and call em the "tank and jetfighter". X is knight armor and STI is a gunmetal grey color. We've even been stopped in coffee drive-thru's and asked what type of vehicles we're driving. (It's ford, chev, dodge country here) Love it!!!!

if i were to get a car, it would be a WRX. probably not the STi tho for insurance since im single and under 25 (hint hint ) its bad enough with a truck and 2 motorcycles. its about $2k a year with a clean record.

I had to give up my Xterra but new I would never be able to go back to 2wd....so yup, you guessed it, 2006 WRX wagon! My 2yr old son loves he zippy wagon more than the bumpy xterra.

The wagon has already been "reflashed" and has an exhaust. I haven't gotten any real numbers yet, but according to the chip mfg, i should be putting about 280hp / 334ft-lbs at the crank. I didn't want to modify the exterior because everyone here in SoCal wants to streetrace

the X is awesome, but it's all I've got, some of you guys make me feel poor with all your rides... ...but then again I just turned 25 and I've got a brand new house and I'm getting married in July...

My "other" truck used to be an '88 SE 4x4...



But I just sold it to a buddy of mine, so now it's just the X for me...

Let's see. I had a 1988 Chevy Beretta(bad trans.), 1996 Chevy Cavalier(sold to aunt), 1994 Chevy Camaro RS(friend totaled ), 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS NT(traded in on car #5), 2001 Mazda 626 LX(traded with mom for month), 2004 Suzuki Forenza S(mom's car I traded with for month), MY Xterra (Lucky 7 ). I traded my 626 in on it. Hopefully the Xterra will be the last for a long time. I've wanted an X ever since they came out in 2000. I know it sounds like I have terrible luck with cars being I'm only 20; but i hope my luck will turn around with my dream X!!

Talk about bad luck with cars, I've been there and done that and I'm only 22.

My baby is my 'Stang. It's been a labor love and it never sees a day with clouds in the air since I never put the top up. Thankfully, that's not a hard thing in Southern California. The X is replacing my 1997 Ford Expedition that was totalled by a hit & run driver. I'll miss it...it got to 109K miles with no problems, ran great in any condition or terrain, and was a sweet ride.

I love my new X! I'm gonna have it for a long long long time!

It's always nice to have a car for paved roads and another for when there is no road.
