A 2.5" lift kit, for under $200!

2.5" lift

or the 1.5" lift for the same price.

1.5" lift kit

I'm sure he'll thank you!

By the way, they're both $197. You'll have to pay for shipping, but the extra cost isn't much.

Yeah I think that is your best bet.

Maybe sliders if he takes it into the rocks but they are certainly more $$$.

I would get him the in channel Vent Shades and bug-flector. That will run you about $120 for both.

I guess it would depend if he off-roads or not. If he does, then there are a ton of things you could get.

ROCK SLIDERS HERE If that strikes your fancy... they're $345 though.

Ooh ooh.. how about some Wet Okole neoprene seat covers? (only if he has cloth seats). Those are great for when you have to get in the truck while wet.

yes he does take it off road and wants to do it more but wont he need bigger tires if he gets a lift? will it look funny if he doesnt get new tires. he used to work at discount tire and all his friends still do so it might not be a problem if he does need them.

Go for the lift IMO!

Buy him the lift and let him fend for himself on the shocks an break lines. If you go with the shackle lift over the AAL (Add-A-Leaf) you don't need to change break lines.

Since it's only a ~2.5" lift the tires will not look all that odd, but new tires would be good.

Listen, if you don't have it already, get recovery gear. Ie- Tow points for the truck, snatch straps, shackles(d-rings), a tire puncture repair kit, a spotlight, maglites, tools, a shovel, etc.
Maricopa's a long way from here so if you get stuck, it better be good.. laugh
