Just wanted to post images of my urban warrior in this section finally.

Considered waiting on the '05 but once I saw the new design, I opted for the '04 (sorry 05-ers...I still see a Liberty crossed with a Cherokee every time I see one on the road). Sure I'd love to have 265 ponies under the hood, but it's rarely been a problem - especially after my Flowmaster/K&N Intake mods (although maintaining speed going up steep highway inclines is still a bitch).

Had her for almost a year now and love her more every day. I use it for every day city driving, camping trips, and trips to the mountain and ocean alike. It's a 4x2 since a) I'm not an avid off-roader and b) I live in Los Angeles. Has yet to let me down.

(oh, and let the comments about my Westin 'bull/push bar' begin...) [Uh Oh !]

It looks nice. If you aren't offroading the bullbar shouldn't be a problem.

I like the Westin bars, had one on my 2000 X. IMHO it looks a lot better than a full grille guard.

I know it kills my approach angle but like I said, not an avid off-roader.

I never really considered the full on grille guard I guess because that seemed a little excessive. I just wanted a little something to help me cope with the dings and scrapes that come with city life while distinguishing it from the zillions of other X's we have here in LA (mostly the soccer mom types  ). It also 'butches' it up a bit IMHO.

Yeah, I'd like to have a buck for every grille-guarded X that's never even left the pavement. Or, for that matter, for every 4x4 X that's never been taken out of 2WD.
