Looking for a good shop in the NYC - northern NJ - LI - southern CT area to replace my clutch.

It is starting to go and would really appreciate any recommendations.

Not looking for any great deal, just don't want to get ripped off or pay good money for a bad job. Thanks!

Alpha Transmission in Spring Lake Heights, NJ. His name is Dean and he's one of the best.

Chris, at Allstar Transmission in North Haledon (or is it Haldon?), New Jersey. He just did my clutch, good job. Also had him install my front locker.

In my opinion, he is one of the best transmission/gear/clutch guys in northern Jersey. Most of dealerships around here use him for all their transmission/gear work.

Thanks for the suggestions. k_enn - I'll give Allstar a call and see what the job might run. He's not too far from my office in Englewood Cliffs.
