I should have listened to everyone but I didn't. My first mod was a pair of Shrock Sliders, then I got the mod bug. Ended up with a 2 inch body lift a few months back. Long story short, the sliders were 2" short after the BL install.

So I finally got around to making some slider relocation brackets, and I think they turned out great.

Here, you can see a before shot of the passenger side. Notice the nasty 2 inch gap:

Here is a pic of the drivers side after the bracket install. No 2" gap anymore!

and here is what the brackets themselves look like. Made of 1/4" thick steel plate, cut, primes, and painted.

The bottom hole only holds the bracket to the frame, the center hole holds the slider and bracket, and the top hole is just the slider and bracket with bolt and nut on backside.

End result: Sliders are now 2.25 inches higher then they were, and are still strong enough for their intended uses. smile

Looks good, and good to hear they hold up to the abuse wink

I'm assuming you've tested 'em by having the truck perch on a rock with it's full weight on 'em?

Either way, good planning and good turnout! [ThumbsUp]
