I thought ground blizzards were all you get where your at

Ground blizzards were yesterday , there were at least 12 vehicles off the highway within 2 miles. CRAZY!!

One instance yesterday I pulled highschoolers out of the ditch and they said "I was going fine until I hit this one patch of Ice". I looked at her and said "You have been on ice for the last fourty miles!!". She had gone off the road backwards, missed the creek by inches and through the barb wire fence, oh and she said she wasnt going that fast.

Now that is snow in some nasty conditions!

I'v said it before and i'll say it again:

I am DAMN glad I live in Florida. I'd never leave the house if it was like that outside. Bring me the good ole sun and beach.

Too many bugs!! I was in Florida the beginning of November and there were bugs everywhere!! More specifically mosquitos. We have all natural control for those pesky critters up here its called 40 below! :p

I would give anything to live out in Colorado or Montana, but can't seem to convince the wife that snow is a good thing. Guess I'll continue to be teased by the inch or two every now and then here in Knoxville.

Snow is a blast to drive especially like the conditions in the pics above. Just think of it as a little extreme offroading going to work!

Being a Florida Native and living in Wisconsin, the bugs are worst here in the summer. They get huge and the short summer season they come out in force. The blood suckers are ten times the pest they are in any swamp in Florida. The one I don't miss about Florida is love bugs.

Plus the constant 40MPH winds

I was raised in western Montana and absolutely loved it as a kid. I went to school in Denver, Co for a 14 months and loved it there too. I helped my Uncle bulid a cabin up near Highland Park,Co while I was going to school. It was at 10,000ft or above. Absolutely loved it up there.

Now with my arthritis I can't handle the cold, so I live in Western Washington state now

The one I don't miss about Florida is love bugs.

Ahh yes the love bugs. Arent they great? and just to think they serve no freakin purpose at all.

Yes those nasty bugs that have no known predator, and stick to the front of cars.

Maybe a urban legend....I have heard that a professor in Gainesville thought they would not survive the winter, since they were native to Africa. So he decided to not gas them and release them.
