I just replaced my original Long Trails with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. I orginally wanted the BF Goodich A/T but I heard they don't handle snow very well. I live in Chicago and am on the road more than off, so the Revo's won out. I do wish I would have gotten bigger than the stock size, oh well.

I have got 31" Bfg K/O ATs . I have been happy with them. I think they work good in snow. I would have to say EAP is right they tend to pack snow and mud more than a Bridgestone AT tire. BFGs ATs do not "channel out" mud and snow as well as Bridgestones.

I am running with the Yokohama Geolander A/T II's. Although I have not thrown the kitchen sink at them yet, no mud in my area this time of year frown I have no complaints. They are not too loud on the road either.

BFG AT KO's here. They're doing really great and not very noisy at all on the road. I have 265/70-17's.

I went with Toyo Open Country ATs. Better off-road and winter tire than the Long Trails. A bit noiser. I would get them again. I found the selection for the wheel size on the 00 X to be quite limited in my area.

I run BFG AT KO's, but it all depends on the type of driving you do. If 90% of the time your on pavement, then I would suggest an all terrain, in which case BFG AT's,in my opinion, are the best. They are very quiet and are great for those times when you get off-road. Seeing how you are in SA, this would probably be a good choice. If you do a lot of mudding or rock crawling you might want something with a bit more bite. However, the more aggressive the tread, the quicker it wears on pavement. Hope this helps.

Bridgestone Revo's, DEFINITELY. Have them on 2 trucks, and seen all conditions thus far, love them greatly. No slipping what-so-ever.

Yeah..I am looking for a good On-Road / Off-Road Tire...looking more towards the Dueler A/T Revo's myself...I don't do any serious Off-Roading, but like to hit the trails every now and then: Rocky, Mud, the Sandy Beaches, and some dirt steep hills...

I put the Revo 31x10.5x15 on a few weeks ago, so far they have been great.

Threw on a set of Dueler A/T Revos last month (P265-70/R15) Nary a day goes by that I don't say to myself, "Man, these tires are great!" laugh
It's starting to drive the mrs crazy [Sleep]

I thought about the Yokos, but I got the impression that they would melt in the South/Central Texas heat (I'm from laredo) cool .

Drove from SA to San Marcos during one of those massive rainstorms that hit mid-Sept. I would have had to pull over with the LongTrails (Heck, a puddle of dog piss was nearly enough to make the LongTrials slip!) But not the Revos! (Granted, I was driving cautiously anyway) These suckers love the rain! They aren't primo mud tires, but surely you know that if you are considering them. Otherwise, they should most of what Texas has to throw at them (caliche, reasonable mud, sand, wet roads, south SA streets [LOL] ).
I have no experience with the BFG ATs, but I only hear the best from them as well. I'd say you'd be happy either way.

Bottom Line:
Great tire that handles well in wet and dry conditions but isn't afraid of the South Texas trails!
Clearly, I highly recommend them! laugh

Bridgestone Revo A/T for the best all-around tire and the Good Year MT/R as a good off-road tire.

I run Bridgestone Dueler M/T's and Pirelli Scorpion A/T's.

The Bridgestones are superb in all conditions...I can't say anything even remotely bad about them.

The Pirellis suck. Actually, this is my second set of these. THe first set was awesome, but this set has had nothing but quality control problems...two leakers, vibration, etc. They are a superb tire in terms of traction though, probably among the best. Only thing I can tell on the quality issue is the first set was U.S. made and the ones I've been getting (two have been replaced already) are made in Brazil. Too bad. frown

I will buy Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos to replace the Pirellis, as I have never had any quality or balancing problems with Bridgestones.

On my second set of BFG AT/KO's.

First set - 31x10.5x15, lasted just over 60,000 miles (probably could have lasted another 10,000 if it was pavement only).

Second set - 32x11.5x15. Only have 3,000 miles on them at this point.

Great for mud and work well in rain. In my opinion, they are quiet until they start wearing them down around 10k - 15k. Only complaint I have on them is they chew up easily in the rocks.

I love the Trxus for offroading, and for street driving. I havent had the dunlops on for very long, so I havent formed an opinion on them yet.
