90% of my driving is on-road. the other 10% is limited to job-related emergencies (heavy construction sites and rough/unpaved roads. I am replacing my Grabbers at 31K miles. I was looking at the Yokohama Geolander H/T-S in the standard size for my '02. Anyone have experiences with these. They seem to be very highly rated on the Tire Rack site and at $93 each, not a bad price.

I was looking at them, too. I am torn between a few different tires right now. I heard they are a good tire...

You should also look at the BFG AT ko..I'm on construction sites all the time, and they have the puncture resistance needed to not go flat with nails and other debris, plus, enough aggressive tread to plow through the goo.

You could fit 32" sizes for your year truck.

The Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO's are also a decent choice, and better than the Geolanders you are considering as well...but the REVO's and the Geolanders don't like nails and construction debris as much...more punctures, and, less mud traction.

I have an '04 that I replaced my Grabbers with NItto Terra Grapplers. They are rated about the same as the BFG's at about $30 less a tire for my size (265/75/16).

Gil - Hows' the handling on those Nitto's? I don't know anyone around here who has them.

Have you driven through construction sites or other debris strewn areas to compare puncture resistance? (

Did you have other truck tires before you got the X, like on other trucks (Grabbers are not the best comparison, there's not much worse than the Grappers to compare...)?

laugh

I'm very curious about them, as the pics at least look decent, but I have no real world experience with them.
