Ok..I bought Ned's revolvers when he sold the X. I expect them arriving before GOX. Would it benifit me to exchange the calmini shackles for the revolvers before I go, without changing anything else? I would still have same factory rims, same shockssame 32x11.50 tires. Would this benifit me at GOX, or possbily cause damage to my existing setup? Would you do it? Thanks in advance for the responses.
John
Please don't turn this into "revolvers suck/rule" thread.

If you install them I would check the brake lines and diff breather hose to make sure they have enough length at full droop.

Same goes for the shocks. You might want to look into limit straps? I'm speaking from hearsay on this one.

Revolvers are meant to give you EXTREME amounts of droop so you keep contact with the ground and get more articulation.

If you don't change the shocks you will not gain hardly anything as far as extra droop is concerned.

Extending brake lines and breather tubes will be necessary and you may want to check with Ned on what wheel spacers may be necessary to widen your wheel track if you are running stock rims.

You certainly don't "need" them on since stock trucks will be running most all trails at GOX. You may also want to wheel on familiar ground once you do the install so you can get acquainted with the new setup.
