Newbie here and I have a quick question about tire fitment. I have an 04 SE S/C and the factory tires are 265/65/17's and I want to upgrade to a set of Goodyear MT/R's that are 285/70/17. Will these fit ?????? I was told by my local NTB that they would, but contacted a guy on here that is with tirerack and he said no. Is anybody running this size??? The problem is I already bought them and just don't have them yet. Should have got a 2nd opinion!!
Thanks eek

Well, its a 33" tall tire...and you don't have a lift, do you?

If you had a 2" BL or more, it would fit, I assume you wanted those tires because you want to go rock crawling?

Plan B is to cut out the front wheel well liner, and cut off the plastic where the mud flaps mount, and then cut off some of the metal there too, until the tires don't rub.

Even with the BL, you'll have to trim off the plastic where the flaps used to go.

So it fits, but not w/o some modification.

I'd suggest a 2" BL and a 1.5" PML.
