I am looking for a tire/wheel combination for my 01 X SE. I wan them to stick out a little for the wider effect from behind. I had a friend tell me limited info about spacers that can be put in to rims to get this effect. Anyone know about this? I would like to go with a new rim (eagle series 117 but wider than 7") with superswampers SSR at maybe 31" hopefully 32". I am not worried about the rubbing at full compression because I don't do extensive offroading. When I do it is playin' in the mud.
Think this would be possible with a torsion crank???
I will get the hang of this stuff eventually.

Avoid wheel spacers whenever possible... Go with wider rims and/or rubber, instead.
